Topeka Capitals 6 @ Battle Creek Jr. Revolution 4: The Topeka Capitals scored four goals in the third period to beat Battle Creek by a score of 6-4. Hardijis Kupaks who scored two goals and added an assist led the Capitals offense. Michael Lawrence was the offensive catalyst for the Revolution also tallying two goals and an assist. The two teams combined for seven goals in the final period. Boxscore

Chicago Junior Bulldogs 3 @ Cincinnati Swords 4 (OT): Timmy Weisgerber scored in overtime to win the game for Cincinnati 4-3 over Chicago. The game was sent to the extra frame after Devin Fracassi scored with the extra attacker to tie the game for Cincinnati. The Junior Bulldogs erased a one-goal deficit in the third with goals from Matt Blaszkiewicz and Ryan Maksimovic to take the lead until Fracassi put one home late. Blaszkiewicz had two goals on the night for the Junior Bulldogs. Boxscore

Michigan Mountain Cats 2 @ Toledo Cherokee 4: Dominic Antonelli scored a hat trick in the victory to lead the Toledo Cherokee to a 4-2 victory over the Michigan Mountain Cats. Antonelli was aided on offense from Toledo leading scorer Tyler Zalecki who added the fourth goal and two assists. Michigan goaltender Walker Bass had another 40+ plus save performance during the game but picked up the loss. Boxscore

Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 2 @ Flint Junior Generals 5: Flint used five straight goals to open the game to beat the Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks by a score of 5-2. Justin Fisher got the Junior Generals on the board when he scored two power play goals in the opening period along with a goal from Conor Durgan, who scored to end the period. The Junior Generals would score twice more before Cleveland answered back with just 8 seconds remaining with a Tyler Stockwell tally. Nick Balavich would score for Cleveland in the third but it would not be enough to catch the Junior Generals. Boxscore

St. Louis Jr. Blues 2 @ Peoria Mustangs 1: In an evenly matched game it was the St. Louis Jr. Blues who got the best of the Peoria Mustangs by a score of 2-1. All of the scoring came a period of two minutes during the middle frame when Mike Lozano opened the scoring and then assisted on an Andew Kovacich goal less then a minute later. Chance Homerin would respond quickly after to cut the lead in half but that was all the Mustangs could muster up. Each team finished the night with 29 shots and St. Louis goaltender Billy Hindle picked up the victory for the Jr. Blues. Boxscore

Breezy Point North Stars 1 @ Wisconsin Whalers 5: The Wisconsin Whalers had four players have multiple point nights in a 5-1 victory over the Breezy Point North Stars. The North Stars opened the scoring in the first period with a goal from Blake Neumann that would take their lead into the first intermission. It was all Whalers from then on as they scored five unanswered goals in the final two periods to take the victory. Dan Addie, Jason Hoehn, Zack Johnson and Kaleb Morley all recorded two points during the win. Boxscore

Alexandria Blizzard 5 @ Minnesota Flying Aces 1: Evan Bisek stopped 28 shots and Bo Gronseth dished out four assists as the Alexandria Blizzard beat the Minnesota Flying Aces 5-1. After a scoreless first period the Blizzard responded with a three-goal period that included two assists from Gronseth. Jack Anderholm also scored the Flying Aces goal during the middle frame. The Blizzard added two more in the final frame, which included a shorthanded tally from Mick Dhein. Boxscore

Granite City Lumberjacks 4 @ North Iowa Bulls 6: After a hard fought 6-4 victory over the Granite City Lumberjacks the North Iowa Bulls now have sole possession over 1st place in the competitive West division. The Bulls went down early when Mitchell Gwost found the back of the net for the Lumberjacks to give them a 1-0 lead. The Bulls struck late in the period getting goals from Logan Murphy and the first of two goals from Timothy Santopoalo to take the lead into the locker room. Santopoalo found the net again to open the middle frame a mere 34 seconds into the period to bring the lead to two. The Bulls and Lumberjacks would trade goals the rest of the game but the Bulls would never relinquish the two-goal lead. Richie Marenis would put home an empty netter with three seconds remaining to clinch the game for the Bulls. North Iowa forward Brandon Anderson had four assists on the night. Boxscore
