Flint Junior Generals 3 @ Pittsburgh Vengeance 4: The game came down to the wire but it was Oskar Thorsen who found the back of the net and helped Pittsburgh defeat first place Flint by a score of 4-3. Tom Diffendal scored twice for the Vengeance and Luke Dmytro scored a goal and an assist to lead the Junior Generals. Jason Kumpfmiller picked up the win in net for the Vengeance stopping 34 shots to pick up his 5th win of the season. Boxscore

Twin City Steel 11 @ Breezy Point North Stars 5: Jace Childs had an unprecedented offensive night for the Twin City Steel as Childs scored a hat trick and added seven assists for a ten-point night in the Steel victory. The North Stars got off to a fast start receiving unassisted goals from Joe Laskero and Joe Pierson and held a one-goal lead at the first intermission. The North Stars increased their lead back to two but Childs scored his first goal of three in a shorthanded effort that was the beginning of three straight goals for the Steel that would eventually give them the lead. A six goal third period would seal the deal for the Steel and give them a road victory over Breezy Point. Boxscore

Battle Creek Jr. Revolution 0 @ St. Louis Jr. Blues 9: Andrew McGlynn and Tommy Heinzmann both had five point outings as the Jr. Blues shutout Battle Creek 9-0. McGlynn got the Jr. Blues offense going when he scored the only goal of the first period to give the Jr. Blues the lead for the rest of the game. Jr. Blues goaltender had an easy night in net stopping all 11 shots in net for the victory. Battle Creek goaltender Tyler Babinksi stopped 48 shots during the loss. Boxscore

Peoria Mustangs 6 @ Wisconsin Whalers 3: The Peoria Mustangs used a huge second period to defat the Wisconsin Whalers 6-3. The Mustangs and the Whalers traded goals in the first period to take a tie into the middle frame. Easton Halbert scored early in the second to give Wisconsin a one-goal lead until Nathan Chasteen scored the first of four unanswered goals from the Mustangs to blow the game open and give Peoria the lead for good. Peoria goaltender Marc Hayton was sensational in net stopping 48 shots for the victory. Boxscore

North Iowa Bulls 6 @ Minnesota Flying Aces 1: NA3HL leading scorer Timothy Santopoalo picked up a goal and three assists to lead the North Iowa Bulls to a 6-1 victory over the Minnesota Flying Aces. The Flying Aces struck first on the power play with a goal from Jack Anderholm to give them an early 1-0 lead. The lead didn’t last long as Logan Murphy scored 9 seconds later to tie the game up and start a string of six unanswered goals for the Bulls. Chris Amsden stopped 10 shots in net for the Bulls to pick up the victory. Boxscore
