Toledo captain Armstrong makes college commitment

The Toledo Cherokee of the NA3HL are proud to announce that forward Zach Armstrong has chosen Adrian College to continue playing in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division I.
 
Armstrong, who hails from Findlay, Ohio, was the Cherokee captain this past season.
 
In 94 career games for Toledo the 5’8’’ 155 center scored 14 goals and added 33 assists for a total of 47 points.
 
Zach was honored with the NA3HL Academic Achievement Award. Armstrong graduated this summer from Findlay High School and ranked 15th out of 400 in his class. He scored a 28 on his ACT.
 
He will attend school on  a full academic scholarship at Adrian College in Michigan.
 
During the 2014 NA3HL Top Prospects event Armstrong notched 1 goal and 1 assist in the 3 game event.
 
"Zach is the ultimate team guy, he plays hard every night and his hard work has paid off. He will do very well at the next level, I am very happy for him and his family." said Toledo head coach Kenny Miller.
 
The entire Toledo Cherokee organization would like to wish Zach continued success at Adrian.
