Dalton, 20, led Cleveland in scoring this season with 55 points in 47 regular season games played.  The native of Northfield, Ohio, also was selected to and played in the 2015 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament for the East Division team.

Dalton split the 2013-14 season between Cleveland and the Chicago Jr. Bulldogs. In 16 games with Cleveland, Dalton registered 19 points and in 27 games with Chicago, Dalton had 28 points.

In his NA3HL career, Dalton had 102 points in just 90 games.  He also appeared in four playoff games in 2014 and had five points.

Dalton joins former Lumberjacks teammate John Barlow at UM-Dearborn.

“Academics has always been first and going to a school like UM-Dearborn is a great fit for that. Besides academics, I want to win a National Championship and play some competitive hockey,” said Dalton. “I think with the team we have here, I think it should make for a great experience.”
