St. Louis goalie Cothran makes college commitment

St. Louis Jr. Blues and NA3HL goalie Cooper Cothran has signed a letter of intent to play college club hockey at Lindenwood University.
 
The Mansfield, Texas native complied a lifetime record of 17-18-1 with the Jr. Blues, with a total GAA of 3.67 spltting time with Billy Hindle between the pipes. Cothran played the past two seasons for the Jr. Blues in 2013-14 and 2014-15.
 
Prior to playing for the Jr. Blues in the NA3HL, Cothran played in the NAPHL during the 2012-13 season for the Texas Tornado 18U team.
 
Cothran will join a number of ex-Jr. Blues with the Lions, including Alex Carlsson, Christian Argyros, Jeremy Edwards and Mike Lozano, who all joined the ACHA Division I team following successful stints in the NA3HL.
