Rochester completes three-game sweep of Chicago on Sunday

Rochester 3 @ Chicago 1 - Zach Mains stood on his head and made 32 saves to lead Rochester to a 3-1 victory over Chicago. Rochester was sparked by Evan Sabo, who finished with one goal. Sabo scored 14:59 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Rochester. Dan Trageser picked up the assist. Rochester also got points from Colby DeCarlo, who also had one goal and one assist. Jiri Trubacik also scored for Rochester. Other players who recorded assists for Rochester were Hunter Heightland and Nick Paulson, who each chipped in one. Chicago was led by Scott Coash Jr., who scored the team's only goal. Coash Jr. scored 11:58 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Chicago. Stefan Vlad assisted on the tally. Dalton Baker made 46 saves for Chicago on 48 shots.

Cincinnati 1 @ St. Louis 8 - St. Louis' Zach Mitchell had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 8-1 win over Cincinnati. Mitchell scored on the power play at 16:32 into the first period to make the score 2-1 St. Louis and again while 8:42 into the third to make the score 7-1 St. Louis. St. Louis additionally got points from Bayley Marshal, who also tallied one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. St. Louis also had goals scored by Alex Klaesner, who had two and Tomas Loeffelman, Frankie Cardinale, and Alex Werdmuller, who each put in one. In addition, St. Louis received assists from Joe Nolan, who had two, Cameron McAtee, who had four, and CJ Nitchen and Hayden Smer, who contributed one each. Cincinnati was led by Taylor Hamilton, who scored the team's only goal. Hamilton scored 7:03 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Cincinnati. Brenden Williams provided the assist. Ian Dvorak rejected 20 shots on goal for St. Louis.

Texas 9 @ Sugar Land 4 - Texas had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 9-4 win over Sugar Land. Ryan Dunner was all over the ice for Texas, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Dunner scored 3:45 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Texas. George Hansen assisted on the tally. Texas additionally got points from Victor Ekk, who also grabbed one goal and two assists, Oliver Hay, who also had one goal and two assists, Dakota Davis, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Kyle Galloway, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Mykyta Sheptytsky, who also tallied two goals and one assist. Others who scored for Texas included Triston Wilson and Noah Klinsky, who scored one goal each. In addition, Texas received assists from Matt Araujo and Brock Brown, who each chipped in one. Sugar Land was led by Jonathan Adnell, who had two goals. Adnell scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 1:46 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Texas. Keith Allen provided the assist. Adnell's next tally on the power play made the score 7-3 Texas with 11:35 left in the third period. Zac McKenna picked up the assist. Sugar Land also got points from McKenna, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Trevor Wolf also scored for Sugar Land. More assists for Sugar Land came via Luca Valenza, who had two and RC Randall, Matt DeNure, and Frank Muscarella, who contributed one each. Tyler Myers rejected 24 shots on goal for Texas.

Evansville 4 @ Peoria 5 - Evansville almost clawed its way back from a three-goal deficit, but Peoria managed to pull out a 5-4 win in the end. Peoria led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Peoria's Chance Homerin scored at 10:30 in the second period to put Peoria up 4-1. Thomas Kolaz had a great game for Peoria, netting two goals. Kolaz found the back of the net 18:10 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Peoria and again while 12:38 into the third to make the score 5-4 Peoria. Peoria also got points from Jason Hoehn, who also registered two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Peoria received assists from Andrej Buchko and Michael Butera, who contributed one each. Evansville was led by William Bonser, who tallied two goals. Bonser scored the first of his two goals at 8:54 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Peoria. Brandon Bornkamp picked up the assist. Bonser's next tally made the score 4-3 Peoria with 39 seconds left in the second period. Bornkamp assisted on the tally. Evansville additionally got points from Triston Theriot, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Evansville also got a goal from Michael Kelley as well. More assists for Evansville came via Jon Grimm, who had one. Ross Lipic made 21 saves for Peoria on 25 shots.

Southern Tier 2 @ Pittsburgh 5 - Pittsburgh relied on the scoring touch of Darrien Sroka, who netted two goals, to beat Southern Tier, 5-2. Sroka scored at 8:22 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Pittsburgh and again while on the power play 15:46 into the second to make the score 4-1 Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh forced Southern Tier goalie Cody Gibson to work between the pipes, taking 49 shots.  Pittsburgh also got points from Adam Schaffer, who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Pittsburgh included Joshua Butterworh and Dominick Glavach, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Pittsburgh were Perry Shiring, who had two and James Unger, Nick Hawkins, Gavin Cummings, Kenny White, and Devin Sroka, who each chipped in one. Southern Tier kept Pittsburgh's goalie busy throughout the game, and Marcus Gloss made 40 saves on 42 shots. Southern Tier was helped by Curtis Carlson, who racked up one goal. Carlson scored on the power play 8:29 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Southern Tier. Joshua Malin provided the assist. Southern Tier also got a goal from Brian Grant as well. Southern Tier's Gibson stopped 44 shots out of the 48 that he faced.
