NA3HL Weekend Preview
October 23, 2015
The NA3HL has had a busy week with games commencing on Wednesday and going every day through Sunday this week.
In looking at the standings, there is some clear separation starting to happen at the top and with a quarter of the season approaching or here for most teams, some are also starting to sweat their playoff chances.
The East, Frontier and South Divisions are dominated by divisional match-ups this weekend, while there are also a nice compliment of out-of-division games.

In the Central Division, the division-leading North Iowa Bulls make a small 100-mile trip North to face the Rochester Ice Hawks in one game on Saturday. The Bulls are one of two NA3HL teams remaining (Twin City) whom have yet to lose a game in regulation.
In the East Division, Metro has opened up their division lead and will visit West Michigan on Saturday. 3rd place Wooster and 5th place Pittsburgh square off in a home-and-home series and Southern Tier looks to snap a three-game losing streak in Toledo.
It is a busy weekend in the Frontier Division. 1st place Great Falls faces a tough test with games against Gillette and Bozeman. 2nd place Yellowstone put their four-game winning streak on the lone with three games (one against Bozeman and two against Helena). Glacier will host Billings twice.
In the Midwest Division, 2nd place Peoria travels to Cincinnati to take on the Thunder, who are looking to snap a four-game losing streak.
It is busy in the South Division this weekend as all six teams are in action against one another. The 1st place Point Mallard Ducks have three road games (one in Sugar Land, two in Louisiana). Atlanta flip-flops with the Ducks opponents as they have two games in Sugar Land and one in Louisiana. The Texas Jr. Brahmas and Euless Jr. Stars will renew their cross-town rivalry with a pair of games.
In the West Division everyone besides Breezy Point, who is facing La Crosse in an out-of-division series, will play two games. 1st place Twin City will be tested with road games against the Minnesota Flying Aces and Granite City Lumberjacks. Alexandria will also play two games this weekend against Granite City and Minnesota.
Outside of the Divisions, La Crosse will travel to Breezy Point to face the North Stars, Evansville will try and get their first win with a home-and-home series against Nashville and Wisconsin is in St. Louis to face the Jr. Blues.
