Freeze forward Trapp gets call to the NAHL

October 26, 2015
The La Crosse Freeze, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that second-year forward Taylor Trapp has been called up to the NAHL to play for the Coulee Region Chill.

Trapp, 19, is in his second year playing in the NA3HL for the Freeze. He is currently 3rd on the team in scoring with 11 points in 10 games played.

The native of West Salem, WI which is based in the Coulee Region area, had 49 points in 45 games played last season. "Taylor is a great example of the fantastic development that is happening in our area right now.  As a senior in high school, Taylor played for our U18 team in our inaugural year of our youth Jr. Chill AAA program under Chill Coach AJ Degenhardt.  Last year he saw huge success on our NA3HL team with Coach Egan and now has been called up to play with the Chill.  We are excited to see what he can do at the Tier 2 level,” stated Freeze and Chill owner Michelle Bryant.

Trapp (6’0/180) also played for the Central Division team at the 2015 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament.

“We are extremely excited for Taylor.  He has put in the hard work, both on and off the ice to earn this opportunity.  We know that work ethic and dedication will be asset to the Chill,” said Freeze head coach Ryan Egan.
