NA3EHL announces Easton Hockey Stars of the Week
The North American 3 Eastern Hockey League (NA3EHL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Easton Hockey for the week ending November 1, 2015. The divisional stars of the week is an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in each of the two divisions of the NA3EHL as nominated by their head coaches.
East Division Star of the Week: Jake Latham, forward, New England Stars
Veteran forward Jake Latham, 20, led the New England Stars to a pair of wins this past week. The native of Nashua, NH, recorded points in two wins over the East Coast Minutemen on Wednesday and the Northeast Generals on Saturday. Latham (5’8/160) totaled five points in the two wins and was +3. On Wednesday, Latham had an assist in a 5-2 road win against East Coast. On Saturday, he had a hat-trick, including the game-winning goal, and added an assist for a four-point game in a 6-2 home win over the Generals. In 11 games so far this season, Latham has 16 points, including three game-winning goals.

West Division Star of the Week: Ryan Flanagan, forward, Wilkes-Barre Miners
Although the Wilkes-Barre Miners lost three games this weekend in Roc City, forward Ryan Flanagan stood out in the losses. The native of Yatesville, PA, recorded eight points and registered at least a point in all three of the games. On Friday, Flanagan (5’11/180) had four goals in and an assist in a close 6-5 loss. On Saturday, Flanagan had an assist in a 7-3 loss and on Sunday, he scored two of the three Miners goals in a 6-3 loss. He was also even on the weekend in +/-. For the season, Flanagan is 7th in NA3EHL scoring with 28 points in 16 games played.
