Texas goalie Perrone gets call to the NAHL
December 10, 2015
The Texas Jr. Brahmas, proud members of the NA3HL, have announced that goalie Brandon Perrone has been called up the NAHL by the Lone Star Brahmas.
Perrone is an impressive 10-2-1 in 14 games played this season. Furthermore, he holds the second best goals against average in the entire NA3HL (1.36) and also ranks in the top ten for save percentage at .925%.
“I’m biased but I think he’s one of the best goalies in all of Tier III hockey and I didn’t think it was a matter of if, it was a matter of when he was going to get called up,” head coach Al Rooney said about the young goaltender.
The 17-year-old native of Smithtown, NY, has given up two goals or less in his last 11 apperances.
