Quake win wild game against Gillette
Gillette 6 @ Yellowstone 8 - Reed Kelly netted a hat trick to lead Yellowstone over Gillette, 8-6.
North Iowa 6 @ Rochester 1 - North Iowa relied on the scoring touch of Quinn Fuchs, who netted two goals, to beat Rochester, 6-1. Fuchs scored at 52 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 North Iowa and again while 17:52 into the first to make the score 2-0 North Iowa. North Iowa also got points from Adam Orn, who also tallied one goal and two assists, Austin Jackson, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Brett Gravelle, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Sean Mallonee also scored for North Iowa. In addition, North Iowa received assists from Jeff Solow, Joe Burgmeier, Tommy Hall, and Carmen Dalesandro, who contributed one each. North Iowa's Tommi Ahlgren stopped 16 shots out of the 17 that he faced. Zach Mains made 60 saves for Rochester on 66 shots.
Breezy Point 3 @ Alexandria 6 - Alexandria took home the win against Breezy Point, 6-3. Alexandria was helped by AJ Gullickson, who racked up one goal. Gullickson scored 14:51 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Alexandria. Tyler Frischmon assisted on the tally. Alexandria additionally got points from Tony Arias, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Bozeman 4 @ Billings 2 - Billings almost clawed its way back from a three-goal deficit, but Bozeman managed to pull out a 4-2 win in the end. Bozeman led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Bozeman's Kegan Couture scored at 16:12 in the first period to put Bozeman up 3-0. Bozeman kept Billings' goalie busy throughout the game, and Brandon Brown made 30 saves on 34 shots. Bozeman was helped by Nicholas Thompson, who tallied one goal. Thompson scored 2:23 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Bozeman. Zach Frasier assisted on the tally. Bozeman additionally got points from Gunnar Mogck, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Couture, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points.
