Quake win wild game against Gillette

Gillette 6 @ Yellowstone 8 - Reed Kelly netted a hat trick to lead Yellowstone over Gillette, 8-6. Kelly notched his first tally 7:03 into the first period. He then added goals at 14:33 into the third and at 19:05 into the third. The teams traded the lead four times and neither team could skate away and hide. Gillette took its last lead at 13:32 in the third on a goal by Tyler Tennant to make the score 6-5 Gillette. Yellowstone took over the lead for good with a goal by Matt Runyon 17:23 into the third to make the score 7-6. Yellowstone additionally got points from Jake Dickison, who also had one goal and one assist and Runyon, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Yellowstone included Max Doner, Nicholas Elliot, and Nick Ligocki, who scored one goal each. North Iowa also got points from Adam Orn, who also tallied one goal and two assists, Austin Jackson, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Brett Gravelle, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Sean Mallonee also scored for North Iowa. In addition, North Iowa received assists from Jeff Solow, Joe Burgmeier, Tommy Hall, and Carmen Dalesandro, who contributed one each. North Iowa's Tommi Ahlgren stopped 16 shots out of the 17 that he faced. Zach Mains made 60 saves for Rochester on 66 shots.

Breezy Point 3 @ Alexandria 6 - Alexandria took home the win against Breezy Point, 6-3. Alexandria was helped by AJ Gullickson, who racked up one goal. Gullickson scored 14:51 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Alexandria. Tyler Frischmon assisted on the tally. Alexandria additionally got points from Tony Arias, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Alexandria included Alex Bowe, Steven Gustafson, Logan Nelson, and Connor Nilson, who scored one goal each. In addition, Alexandria received assists from Trent Olson, who had two and Brey Effertz, Jack Cernohous, Logan Norman, Ryan Marciniak, and Aaron Ryback, who each chipped in one. Breezy Point was led by Austin Langworthy, who finished with one goal and one assist. Langworthy scored on the power play 13:01 into the third period to make the score 5-3 Alexandria. Bozeman 4 @ Billings 2 - Billings almost clawed its way back from a three-goal deficit, but Bozeman managed to pull out a 4-2 win in the end. Bozeman led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Bozeman's Kegan Couture scored at 16:12 in the first period to put Bozeman up 3-0. Bozeman kept Billings' goalie busy throughout the game, and Brandon Brown made 30 saves on 34 shots. Bozeman was helped by Nicholas Thompson, who tallied one goal. Thompson scored 2:23 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Bozeman. Zach Frasier assisted on the tally. Bozeman additionally got points from Gunnar Mogck, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Couture, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Bozeman also got a goal from Casey Gobel as well. More assists for Bozeman came via Dylan Michaud, who had two and Brock Loser and Steven Nisbet, who contributed one each. Billings was helped by Chris Nicolai, who registered one goal and one assist. Nicolai scored 1:18 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Bozeman. Zach Heiser picked up the assist.
