NA3HL Weekend Preview

With the USA Hockey junior trading deadline and roster freeze just a few days away, the teams in the NA3HL are in the final stages of preparing for the stretch run as the league is in the final months of the 2015-16 regular season.

This weekend features more intriguing divisional match-ups and more playoff berths are up for grabs. The NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament is just over a week away in Plymouth, Michigan.

In the Central Division, Wisconsin is at Chicago on Friday and Rochester is in La Crosse on Saturday.

In the East, Southern Tier is at Toledo for a pair of games, Wooster hosts West Michigan for a two-game set and Metro hosts Pittsburgh twice.

In the Frontier Division, things are tight from top to bottom. Gillette faces a key series against Helena. Billings and Bozeman play in a home-and-home series and Yellowstone is in Glacier for a pair of games.

In the Midwest, Evansville and Nashville have a two-game series as do Cincinnati and Peoria.

In the South Division, Euless is on the road three times, including one in Atlanta and two in Point Mallard. The same holds true for Texas, who is in Point Mallard for one game and Atlanta for two. Louisiana is in Sugar Land with the Imperials ready to snatch up the final playoff spot in the South.

In the West, Alexandria and Breezy Point play in a home-and-home series, while Granite City is at Minnesota on Saturday.

Outside of the divisions, Twin City and North Iowa play a home-and-home series, Chicago is at St. Louis twice and Rochester is at Minnesota on Friday.
