Atlanta 6 @ Nashville 1 - Atlanta, which found itself down a man often, weathered Nashville's power play opportunities and emerged with a 6-1 victory. Atlanta was led by Andrew Cooley, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Cooley scored on the power play 1:09 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Atlanta. Kyle Rimbach provided the assist. Atlanta also got points from Arturas Laukaitis, who also finished with one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Atlanta also had goals scored by Riley Hummitsch, Drake Cartwright, Alex Johanson, and Ryan Dumond, who scored one goal each. Sugar Land 3 @ Point Mallard 4 - The game between Point Mallard and Sugar Land was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Point Mallard emerged with a 4-3 win. No lead was more than one goal during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Justin Dunn at 5:53 of the third period. Dunn had a great game for Point Mallard, netting two goals. Point Mallard kept Sugar Land's goalie busy throughout the game, and Tristan Collins made 72 saves on 76 shots. Point Mallard also had goals scored by Stephen Coulter and Justin Clark, who each put in one.
