NAHL, NAPHL announce partnership with FASTHockey

August 14, 2010

The North American Hockey League (NAHL) has announced that FASTHockey (FASTHockey.com) has been named the Official Internet Broadcast Provider of the NAHL and the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL).

As part of the agreement, FASTHockey will stream live every NAHL regular-season and playoff game, the Robertson Cup Championship Tournament, as well as the Sherbrook/NAHL Showcase Tournament and both Sherbrook/NAHL Top Prospects Tournaments.

FASTHockey will also stream live all five NAPHL regular-season events, as well as the Championship Tournament Series and Top Prospects Tournament.  In addition, FASTHockey will stream every game of next month’s NAHL Future Prospects Tournament.

“FASTHockey’s track record of innovation and vision when it comes to Internet broadcasting is second to none,” said NAHL commissioner Mark Frankenfeld.  “As both the NAHL and NAPHL continue to flourish and technology continues to evolve, we’re committed to showcasing all of our student-athletes to fans, families and scouts around the world in a professional, user-friendly environment and FASTHockey’s presence helps us achieve that goal.”

“We’re excited the North American Hockey League and the North American Prospects Hockey League chose FASTHockey to provide the platform, production and promotion of all regular-season, postseason and showcase events to an audience that spans the globe,” said FASTHockey president Marc Ruskin. “We’re looking forward to serving both NAHL and NAPHL fans, families and scouts with incredible content live, on-demand, on DVD and on USB flash drives.”

Fans of the NAHL and NAPHL can access all games through either the newly launched NAHL Web TV platform, http://nahl.FASTHockey.com, or through the FASTHockey portal, http://www.FASTHockey.com.

“Our expertise goes far beyond technology,” Ruskin added.  “Our partners choose us for our unique abilities in audience development; we know how to quench the thirst our users have for live hockey content.”
