April 6, 2016
The Atlanta Capitals, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that forward Frank Trazzera has been called up to the NAHL’s Lone Star Brahmas for the rest of the season.
Trazzera (6’2/185) who is originally from Keller, Texas started the season with Lone Star throughout training camp before reporting to Atlanta. He registered 7 goals, 12 assists for 19 points with a +21 in 38 games in first full season of junior hockey with the Capitals as a 17-year-old.
Trazzera saw game action this past weekend with the Lone Star Brahmas against the Odessa Jackalopes.
“Frank is a great person first and foremost, he’s well liked by his teammates and that is a credit to his tight knit family background. He’s an extremely hard worker and is not afraid to go into the dirty areas and take a beaten at such a young age. He’s got a bright future ahead of him and the Capitals organization wishes him best of luck,” said Atlanta head coach Anthony Bohn.
Trazzera is the fourth Capitals player to find his way onto a NAHL roster this season joining, Colin O’connor, Arturas Lauitkis and Tristan Foltz. Phil Pugliese has also signed a tender agreement with the Topeka Roadrunners for next season.
