Miners name Laganiere as new head coach

The Wilkes-Barre Miners, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce the addition of Chris Laganiere as Head Coach for the 2016-17 season. Laganiere, son of Binghamton Hall of Famer Pierre Laganiere, comes from a significant hockey pedigree which will offer immeasurable experience to our program.
Per GM Ray Welsh, "the Miners have a lot of exciting changes in progress for the upcoming season, including our recent affiliation with the NAHL's Northeast Generals and pending USAH petition to relocate and rebrand to Binghamton, New York, as the Binghamton Jr Senators. Both Chris and Pierre are highly respected within the hockey community, collectively we re excited to bring Junior hockey back to Binghamton to establish an elite program capable of offering our players every possible resource to develop and compete within the highest levels and beyond."
