The Twin City Steel, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that defenseman Nick McKeeby has signed an NAHL tender agreement with the Bismarck Bobcats.

McKeeby, 18, is in his first season of playing junior hockey in the NA3HL for the Steel. The native of Brighton, Michigan has appeared in 15 total games for the Steel tallying 2 goals 5 assists and a +9 rating.

“Nick made an immediate impact once joining the Steel later in the season,” said Twin City head coach Jay Witta. "His drive and dedication has elevated the play of the entire team. Nick has a bright career ahead of him at the junior and collegiate level."

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include one tender exclusively used on players from the NA3HL - plus or minus any trades - which became active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft, which will be held on June 7, 2016.
