Euless brothers Wade make college commitments

The Euless Jr. Stars, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that Aaron and Brandon Wade have made a commitment to attend and play for Oklahoma University (ACHA Division I)
Aaron and Brandon are twins and will be able to continue their careers playing alongside one another for another four years.
Aaron, 20, a defenseman, played in 45 games this season for the Jr. Stars and recorded 12 points. The 6’0/225 lbs. native of Rowlett, TX, also was selected to and played in the 2016 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament for the South Division team.
Brandon, 20, a forward from Rowlett, TX, had a good season with 22 points in 44 games played.
“As a staff we are very proud of these two young men to be able to pursue there college hockey dreams together as they always come in a package deal. They were both outstanding on and off the ice as well as leaders wherever we went,” said Euless head coach Don Babineau. “Both Aaron and Brandon have a large amount of character, which benefitted our team from day one. With multiple interest from a number of college teams, they felt Oklahoma University was the best choice for them to not only play hockey, but for a good education. Both of them are great individuals that will do big things in life.”
