Yellowstone forward Greene makes NCAA commitment

May 2, 2016
The Yellowstone Quake, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that forward Nick Greene has committed to play hockey for Gustavus Adolphus next season. Gustavus is an NCAA Division III program in St. Peter, Minnesota.

Greene, 19, was a standout player for Minnetonka Minnesota High School. The 2015-16 season was his first year as junior player for the Quake putting up 23 goals and 27 assists for 50 total points. He also had six points in eight playoff games.

Greene also was one of six players off the Quake selected for the 2016 NA3HL Top Prospects tournament and had 2 goals while the Frontier Division went 3-0 in that tournament.

“I couldn't say enough about Nick, the character he brings and what he has done on and off the ice to help bring the Quake through playoffs and to the Silver Cup Championship this season. His work ethic and his attitude towards the game and his teammates is top notch,” said Head Coach Ryan Theros. “Any organization, teammate and Coach is very lucky to have Nick Greene a part of their team! I am very happy to have had the opportunity to coach Nick through this season and will be excited to see his future success as he moves on to play for Gustavus.”

The Yellowstone Quake Organization are very excited and proud of Nick and wish him the best of luck.
