Cincinnati forward Williams makes NCAA commitment

The Cincinnati Thunder, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that forward Brenden Williams has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at Stevenson University for the 2016-17 school year.
This will be the inaugural season for the Mustang program, which will compete in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC), West division.
“We are very proud of Brenden and all he has accomplished. He came back this past season with the goal of playing NCAA Division III and he met his goal,” said Cincinnati head coach Ryan Colville. “He has been with us for three seasons and has improved each year both on the ice in his statistics and off the ice in his leadership. I know he will have a lot of success at the next level because of his ability to play in a number of different roles.”
In the 2015-16 season, Williams, 20, played in 47 games and scored 14 goals, 19 assists for 33 points. The native of Glen Allen, Virginia played three seasons with the Thunder organization that included being selected to the NA3HL Top Prospects in 2015 and 2016 in which he 2 goals, 2 assists in five Top Prospect games.
In his three-year NA3HL career, Williams (5’8/172) played in 137 career regular games and had 78 career points.
