Lockport forward Logar makes college commitment

The Lockport Express of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are pleased to announce that forward Ryan Logar has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey for Canisius College and play for the Golden Griffins located in Buffalo, New York for the 2016-17 season.
Logar, a 20-year-old from Lewiston, New York, led the Lockport Express in scoring this past season with 57 points (25 goals and 32 assists) in 41 regular season games.
Logar also was selected to and played for the NA3EHL West Division Prospects team that competed in the 2015 NA3HL Showcase last season.
Logar (5’10/170) played in 84 career NA3EHL regular season games for the Express along with 87 points and a +30 rating.
“Ryan is a fierce competitor who brings passion and energy to every game. He helped put our program on the map by playing for us in our very first season as well as this past season. He will be an asset to not only the Canisus program but the college as well and we wish him the best,” stated Express General Manager and former coach Frank Vecchio.
Logar is the 6th Lockport Express player from this past season, who has made a college commitment.
