Fighting Spirit double up Wild on Monday, 4-2

L/A Fighting Spirit 4 @ Maine Wild 2 – The Fighting Spirit earned their third straight win on Monday, stealing a road victory from their Coastal Division rival, the Maine Wild.
 
First period scoring belonged solely to the Fighting Spirit, as Thomas Kuntz and Dylan Vrees each found the back of the net to give L/A a 2-0 lead. Vrees was also credited with an assist on Kuntz’s goal.
 
The Wild went to work in the second period, tying the game 2-2 through 40 minutes of play with goals from Dean Pratt and Jordan Tieken. The teams would need the third period to settle the score.
 
Just a minute and 32 seconds into the third, L/A’s Felix Nyqvist put the Fighting Spirit back in the lead, scoring the eventual game-winning goal for L/A. Clifford Ogle added a fourth goal to finish out the win for the Fighting Spirit.
 
L/A’s Siegel Matt collected 3 assists in the victory. He now has 12 total assists in 2016-17.
 
Michael Errico was given the victory with 29 saves for the Fighting Spirit, while Brandon Daigle took the loss for the Wild with 28 saves.
