Atlanta goalie Bivolcic gets called up to the NAHL

The Atlanta Capitals of the NA3HL and Head Coach Dennis Canfield are proud to announce that starting goaltender, Nolan Bivolcic, has been called up to the NAHL to play for the Topeka Roadrunners effective immediately. The Roadrunners are the NAHL affiliate of the Capitals.
Bivolcic, 20, will join the Roadrunners this evening and will start practicing tomorrow with the club. He is expected to dress for Friday evening’s game in Topeka versus the Springfield Blues. Bivolcic, a native Los Gatos, CA has been stellar in net for the Capitals starting all four games. He has compiled a 2-2 record with a 2.39 goals against average and a .935 save percentage. Bivolcic (6’2/185) was named the South Division player of the week on September 23, 2016.
“Nolan has not only been fantastic on the ice, but he is a great teammate and leads by example off the ice, which is exactly why he is an alternate Captain. Our organization and coaching staff prides itself on development and providing a pathway to the NAHL. He has earned this opportunity and is the benchmark for future players,” said Capitals Head Coach Dennis Canfield.
Prior to playing for the Capitals this season, Bivolcic played two seasons for the Wilkes-Barre Miners (now Binghamton Junior Senators) in the former NA3EHL.
