The Breezy Point North Stars of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that defenseman Drake Hill has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Marian University next season.
Hill, 20, is in his second and final season playing in the NA3HL. The native of Bloomington, Minnesota, has appeared in 31 games this season with the North Stars and recorded 10 points.
Prior to this season, Hill (5’8/175) played last season with the Helena Bighorns in the NA3HL.
“Drake has worked very hard the last two seasons to achieve his goal in playing at the NCAA level. Drake has become a very large part of our program here with his strong character and work ethic on and off the ice. We look forward to see Drake in a Saber Uniform next season,” said Breezy Point head coach Jon Jonasson.
“I’m excited to have the opportunity to continue playing hockey and further my education at Marian University. I’m very appreciative and thankful for the staff here at Breezy point, particularly my coaches Jon Jonasson, Craig Larson and Tony Fulton. I’m ready to get started at Marian! Go Sabers,” said Hill.
