Tigrett, a 20-year-old forward, hails originally from Pittsburgh, PA. In 35 games played this season for the WarHawks, Tigrett has grabbed 28 points, which includes 10 goals and 18 assists.
Wendorf, 20, is originally from Richfield, MN. The forward has played 42 games for the WarHawks this season, collecting 50 total points (21 goals, and 29 points).
“Riley Tigrett and Kyle Wendorf were everything we could ask for, especially being a first-year franchise. Tigrett and Wendorf are not just top end players, but they are also team captains and leaders. They both produced on the ice, were great leaders and role models for all players to follow. Riley and Kyle were also active in helping the organization get established in the community by performing countless hours of community service. We are excited that both Riley and Kyle will able to continue their playing careers while furthering their education at Hamline University,” said Willmar Head Coach Chris Blaisuis.
