Helena forward Hayter makes NCAA commitment

The Helena Bighorns of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that captain and forward Kyle Hayter has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at Worcester State University.
The 20-year-old native of Helena, Montana, has played to last two seasons in the NA3HL for the Bighorns. In 91 career NA3HL games the past two seasons, Hayter has recorded 32 points.
Hayter (6’0/180) was selected to and played in the 2017 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament. He played for Team White, which was a combination of players from the Frontier and West Divisions.
“It is a great feeling,” Hayter said. “I’m very thankful for this opportunity. It has been a goal of mine for a very long time to play NCAA hockey. I want to say thank you to my teammates, coaches, the NA3HL, and my parents for all of their help along the way.”
“It’s a testament to the commitment and drive Kyle has had over the past two years to accomplish this goal of his,” said Bighorns Head Coach and GM Bob Richards. “The Bighorns organization is proud of Kyle, and we are certain he will be a strong representation of our program as well as of the Helena community.”
