The Binghamton Junior Senators of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that defenseman Cole Skelly, 20, has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at New England College.
Cole is the second defenseman from the Senators to commit to an NCAA DIII school this year.
The 6’2/190 lbs. native of Landing, New Jersey was part of the defensive corps that led Binghamton to a 45-1-1 record during the regular season and an appearance in the Silver Cup Championship Semi-Finals.
In 25 games played this season, Skelly put up some great numbers with 28 points (5 goals, 23 assists) and an incredible +51 rating. Overall in eight playoff games, Skelly recorded five points.
Skelly played last season for the Skylands Kings in the NA3EHL, where he put up 37 points in 38 games played.
"We are very proud of Cole," said GM Ray Welsh. "He put a lot of work in this year to earn this achievement, and we are confident he will do great."
