Maine Wild name Tory as new head coach

The Maine Wild of the NA3HL have announced that Jeff Tory has been named the team’s new Head Coach for the 2017-18 season.
 
Tory attended the University of Maine where he was a two-time All American. After his successful college career he spent a season playing for the Canadian National Team, four years in the AHL and 12 seasons playing professionally in Europe. Over the course of his career, he was a part of two championship teams and captained multiple teams. 
 
Before becoming the Maine Wild coach, Jeff was the coach for the Connecticut Nighthawks Premier team in the EHL and coach for the Portland Junior Pirates Premier team in the USPHL. Jeff has helped develop and place numerous players into college hockey.
 
“I am very excited to be joining the Maine Wild and the Hockey Academy organization. I look forward to creating a positive environment for the players to come and work on there development both on and off the ice,” stated Tory.
 
“We are very excited to add Jeff to the Maine Wild program.  Jeff brings a very impressive resume as a player and a coach.  I know he will be great asset  for our  players in helping them achieve their goals.  He is passionate, committed and very well respected in the hockey community,” said Wild General Manager Dan Fontas.
