Islanders duo of Thomas and Cam Tobey make NCAA commitment

The Cape Cod Islanders of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that Thomas and Cam Tobey have both committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at Westfield State University next season.
The Falmouth, Massachusetts natives both wore the Islanders logo over the past two seasons and made a major impact on the blueline.
Thomas Tobey (6’1/200) played 42 games this season for the Islanders and scored 7 goals and added 23 assists for 30 points.
Cam Tobey (6’1/210) joined the Islanders after captaining his Falmouth High School team to a deep run in the Massachusetts State Hockey Tour nament.
“We can’t thank Dan Hodge and the Islanders enough for providing us with a great opportunity to play hockey,” Thomas Tobey said. “We are grateful that he took the time to work with us and prepare us for the next step.”
With this additional NCAA commitment, the Islanders have now placed 9 players at the NCAA (8) and ACHA levels.
“I couldn’t be happier for Thomas and Cam, they have both worked so hard and have set themselves up for a great opportunity at Westfield State,” Islanders President and General Manager Dan Hodge said. “I certainly am looking forward to watching their careers develop over the next four years.”
