La Crosse forward Goggin makes college commitment

The La Crosse Freeze, proud members of the NA3HL, are excited to announce that forward Dylan Goggin has committed to play ACHA Division I collegiate hockey for the Iowa State University hockey program.
 
Goggin (5’9/170) joined the Freeze for the 2015-16 season after a productive career for the Red Wing (Minnesota) High School hockey team. He came out fast as a rookie in the NA3HL finishing the 2015-16 season with eight goals and 23 assists for a total of 31 points in 35 career games. 
 
During the 2016-17 season, Goggin, 20, added another eight goals and 13 assists to his resume this past season.
 
The Iowa State Cyclones head coach Jason Fairman had this to say about Goggin. “Dylan is an exceptional young man who impressed us during every step of the recruiting process, and we are very excited that he has committed to Iowa State University for the 2017-18 season. Dylan is an extremely intelligent hockey player who sees the ice well and plays with high energy on every shift. His outstanding compete level and reliability on the defensive side of the puck will be well-suited for our program.”
 
In 76 career games in the NA3HL with the Freeze, Goggin had 52 points.
 
The Freeze would like to thank Dylan for his hard work and dedication the past two seasons with the organization and wish him the best of luck as he continues his academic and athletic careers.
