Jersey Shore forward Rowe makes NCAA commitment

August 4, 2017
The Jersey Shore Wildcats of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Alex Rowe has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for the University of St. Thomas.

Rowe, 21, is from East Lansing, Michigan. The 6'3/205 lbs. center scored 8 goals, 12 assists for a total of 20 points in 30 regular season games and 1 goal, 3 assists in 4 games during the playoffs this past season with the Wildcats.

Rowe also spent time playing in the NAHL for the Wichita Falls Wildcats and Amarillo Bulls, appearing in 15 career games.

Prior to playing in the NA3HL and NAHL, Rowe played in the NAPHL for four seasons with the Lansing Capitals 16U and 18 U teams.

"I really appreciate all the help from the coaching staff and the organization last year. My experience with the Wildcats was great and extremely helpful in developing me as a player and they ran things top notch,” said Rowe.

"Alex joined us from Wichita Falls with the right mind set of how important ice time and development is for him to reach NCAA hockey. His game over the season from skill to hockey sense and judgment got so much better and I am not surprised to see him now heading out to NCAA hockey. I am proud of him and wish him luck with St. Thomas,” said Eric Brule, Director of Hockey Operations for the Wildcats.
