NA3HL announces Bauer Divisional Stars of the Week
The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending September 24, 2017. The divisional stars of the week is an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in each of the eight divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.
Central Division Star of the Week: Tyler Bump, Forward, North Iowa Bulls
Bump, 20, led the Bulls with nine points in their two-game sweep of the La Crosse Freeze. The Prior Lake, Minnesota native scored once and assisted on three other goals in the Bulls win on Friday night. Bump would follow up his superb effort on Friday with a hat trick and two more assists on Saturday. The forward finished +6 on the weekend for North Iowa.
2nd Star: Drew Schenkenberg, G, Rochester Ice Hawks

Coastal Division Star of the Week: Caleb Labrie, Forward, L/A Nordiques
The 20-year old of Greene, Maine, had his coming out party this weekend in the Nordiques’ sweep of the Long Beach Sharks. Labrie lent a helping hand on all three Nordique goals on Friday night in the team’s 3-1 victory. On Saturday, Labrie netted two goals and three assists giving him eight points on the weekend.

East Division Star of the Week: Robby Flannery, Defense, Metro Jets
The veteran defenseman for the Metro Jets was strong on the offensive side of the puck in the weekend sweep of Pittsburgh. Flannery assisted on two goals Saturday night and added four others on Sunday afternoon. The Lathrop Village, Michigan native finished with a plus-2 rating.
2nd Star: Ricardo Gonzalez, G, Toledo Cherokee
Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Adam Felser, F, Toledo Cherokee – Tyler Hawk, G, Pittsburgh Vengeance – Connor Inger, F, Metro Jets – Caden Shell, G, Pittsburgh Vengeance – Brendan Smith, F, Lansing Wolves
Frontier Division Star of the Week: Mason Stewart, Forward, Yellowstone Quake
Stewart, 20, was a major contributor in Yellowstone’s weekend sweep of the Bozeman Ice Dogs. In the first game of the series on Friday, the defenseman notched four assists and had a plus-2 rating. On Saturday, he picked up a pair of goals, including the game winner, and registered four assists. The Maple Valley, Washington native finished the weekend with 10 points and a plus-7.

Midwest Division Star of the Week: Daniel Dunaway, Forward, St. Louis Jr. Blues
The St. Louis veteran had a very consistent weekend as he pocketed a pair of goals in each game this weekend against the Wisconsin Whalers. Dunaway, picked up three assists as well in the two games. The 19-year old scored a power play goal in each game and finished a plus-3.
2nd Star: Declan O’Neal, D, Nashville Jr. Predators
Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Ethan Dabbs, F, St. Louis Jr. Blues – Michael Redmon, F, Nashville Jr. Predators – Braden Stewart, F, Peoria Mustangs
Northeast Division Star of the Week: Craig Garrigan, Forward, Skylands Kings
Garrigan, 19, had himself a fantastic weekend as he logged eight points in a two-game sweep of the Niagara Falls PowerHawks. The forward scored a goal and assisted on one in the Friday night opener. Saturday was when Garrigan took over, he lit the lamp four times and added two assists.
2nd Star: Ryan Flanagan, F, Binghamton Jr. Senators
Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Brad Becker, F, Binghamton Jr. Senators – Noah Cauchi, F, Oswego Stampede – Steven Kozikoski, G, Oswego Stampede – Zack Mullen, F, Jersey Shore Wildcats – Tim O’Connor, D, Jersey Shore – Mathias Yttereng, G, Skylands Kings
South Division Star of the Week: Kyle Cote, Forward, Texas Brahmas
The Missouri City, Texas native, had himself quite the game on Saturday night as he scored two goals and had three assists. He would add another assist on Sunday as the Brahmas finished off the sweep of the College Station Spirit. Cote notched a shorthanded goal on Saturday and also netted the eventual game winning goal.

West Division Star of the Week: Owen Sikich, Forward, Granite City Lumberjacks
Sikich, 20, was the best player on the ice for the Lumberjacks on Friday night as he notched his first hat trick of the season in a 6-5 overtime win against the New Ulm Steel. The following night, Sikich added another goal against the Alexandria Blizzard. The Hermosa Beach, California native scored two of his four goals on the power play.
