La Crosse forward Francois gets call to the NAHL

The La Crosse Freeze of the NA3HL are proud to announce that forward Matthew Francois has been called up to the Johnstown Tomahawks of the NAHL.
Francois, 18, (6'0/183) a native of Denver, Colorado has played eleven games for the Freeze and has 5 goals and 5 assists on the season with a plus seven rating and has been a key contributor to their current success.
“I am excited for the opportunity that Matthew has in Johnstown,” said Head Coach Jon Vaillancourt. “Matthew brings a strong work ethic and skill to the ice, his character, commitment to better himself, and the team makes him an ideal player that coaches strive to have in the locker room and on the ice.”
Prior to playing for the Freeze in the NA3HL, Francois played for the Colorado Thunderbirds in the Tier 1 Elite League.
