Generals, Blizzard win wild ones on Wednesday

Northeast Generals 3 @ Maine Wild 2-The Northeast Generals scored twice with less than two minutes remaining to defeat the Maine Wild, 3-2. Marc Faia, Nicklas Norrefjord, and Austin Braley notched goals for the Generals, while Mason Ledbetter and Tyler Webb found the back of the net for the Wild. In net, Northeast's Morgan Kelly made 26 saves, while Ben Jenkins stopped 34 shots for Maine. 

 

Granite City Lumberjacks 4 @ Alexandria Blizzard 6-The Alexandria Blizzard scored five unanswered goals to come back and defeat the Granite City Lumberjacks, 6-4. Peter Johnson, Brenden Payne (3), and Logan Nelson (2) scored for the Blizzard, while Chase DiBari, Brady Dahl, Brandon Baker, and Braden Altena found the back of the net for the Lumberjacks. In net, Brady Meyers stopped 23 shots for Alexandria, while Granite City's Nick Bucklin made 25 saves on the night.
