Texas goalie Myers gets call to the NAHL

January 2, 2018
The Texas Brahmas of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that goaltender Tyler Myers has been called up to the North American Hockey League’s Corpus Christi IceRays.

Myers, 19, will join the Ice Rays as they face the Shreveport Mudbugs on Tuesday. The 6’0/200 lbs. native of Thornton, Colorado, has posted some good numbers in the league this season, which includes an 8-4-0 record, a 2.49 GAA and a 90.6% save percentage.

This is his second NAHL call up of the season as back in early December he was called up by Corpus Christi.

Myers played in the 2017 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament last February and was the 2016-17 NA3HL South Division Goaltender of the Year and a member of the NA3HL’s All-South Division team.

“This is another great opportunity for Tyler and he has definitely earned it. The Brahmas organization is very happy for Tyler and excited about his future,” said Texas head coach Michael Hill.
