Pittsburgh forward Martz gets call to the NAHL

The Pittsburgh Vengeance of the NA3HL are proud to announce that forward Austin Martz has been called up by the Philadelphia Rebels of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). The Rebels play in the NAHL’s East Division
Martz, 20, has posted 13 goals and 19 assists for 32 points in 21 games for the Vengeance this season. Martz will be in the line up this weekend for Philadelphia as they take division rivals the Northeast Generals.
The Shaler, Pennsylvania native began the season with the Rebels in the NAHL. Martz (6’2/220) has appeared in two NAHL games with the Rebels so far this season.
Martz played the entirety of the 2016-17 season with the Vengeance in the NA3HL, totaling 44 points (20 goals, 24 assists) in 45 games played.
He is also an alum of the NAPHL’s Esmark Stars, having played with the 18U team in both the 2015-16 and 2014-15 seasons, totaling 14 points in 35 career NAPHL games.
