NAHL and NAPHL alum Brad Becker led the NA3HL this season in points with 116. His +/- rating of +99 was the best in the NA3HL since the 2013-14 season.

The Binghamton Junior Senators of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward and 2018 Top Prospects participant Brad Becker has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Utica College in the UCHC.

Becker, 20, is a great ladder of development story and also an NA3HL MVP candidate this season. The 6’2/180 lbs. native of Howell, New Jersey, finished as the NA3HL’s leading scorer during the 2017-18 regular season as he recorded 116 points (53 goals, 63 assists) in just 47 regular season games played.

His 53 goals was tied for the league lead and his 65 assists, 9 game-winning goals and +99 rating was also tops in the league. His +/- rating of +99 was the best in the NA3HL since the 2013-14 season.

Becker was selected to and played in the 2018 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament, which took place a few weeks ago in Plymouth, Michigan, where Utica College was in attendance scouting. He played for the Northeast/South Division team.

This is Becker’s second season playing in the NA3HL for Binghamton. Last season, he had 63 points in 44 games played. In 91 career NA3HL games, Becker has recorded 179 points.

“Brad has been a big part of our success this season as well as a positive role model for the guys both on and off the ice. It is great to see him being rewarded for all the hard work he has put in. We look forward to seeing him and our 2016-17 Captain Conor Landrigan on the ice together again next year in Utica,” said Binghamton head coach Chris Laganiere.

Becker played the 2015-16 season in the NAHL for the New Jersey Titans, where he recorded 14 points in 42 NAHL games.

Prior to that, he played in the NAPHL for three seasons with the New Jersey Jr. Titans from 2012-15, with his best season coming in 2013-14 when he had 21 points in 15 NAPHL games for the Jr. Titans 16U team.
