Yellowstone forward Stewart makes NCAA commitment

The Yellowstone Quake of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Cole Stewart has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Southern New Hampshire University.
 
Stewart, 21, just completed his final season of playing junior hockey, which was spent mostly in the NA3HL with the Quake. The 5’11/190 lbs. native of Atlanta, Georgia began the 2017-18 season playing in the NAHL for the Kenai River Brown Bears. He then joined the Quake and went onto have a very good season, as he finished 5th in league scoring with 91 points (37 goals, 54 assists) in just 39 games played.
 
Stewart was also selected to and played in the 2018 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament for the Grey Team (Frontier/West Divisions). He was named to the All-NA3HL 3rd Team and was also named the Frontier Division Forward of the Year in 2017-18.
 
Overall in his two-year NA3HL career, Stewart had 126 points in 77 career games.
 
Stewart is also an alum of the NAPHL, having played for the Atlanta Fire 16U team during the 2012-13 season.
