The Wisconsin Whalers of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that defenseman Bryce Fisk has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Concordia University in Wisconsin.
“Surreal to say I’ve committed to continue my hockey career at Concordia University of Wisconsin. A huge thanks to my family, coaches, teammates, and billets helping me make this possible,” stated Fisk.
Fisk, 21, just completed his third and final season playing junior hockey in the NA3HL. The 5’11/195 lbs. native of Brown Deer, Wisconsin, appeared in 39 games for the Whalers during the 2017-18 regular season and recorded six points.
Fisk joined the Whalers in 2015-16. Overall in three NA3HL seasons, he played in 125 career games and recorded 25 points.
Fisk was also selected to and played in the 2016 and 2017 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournaments.
“I couldn’t be happier for Bryce being able to play for his hometown team he grew up watching. Bryce is a two-time Top Prospects players and a two-time team Assistant Captain for us. No one works harder on and off ice to get to where he is. Bryce is a great young man and teammate,” said Whalers head coach Tom McDermott.
