The Maine Wild of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Josh DeCarolis has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey for the University of Jamestown.
DeCarolis, 18, just completed his first season of junior hockey in the NA3HL with the Wild during the 2017-18 season. The 5’7/150 lbs. native of Springfield, Massachusetts, recorded 18 points (7 goals, 11 assists) in 46 regular season games.
“Josh is a very hard worker and a great teammate. We wish him the best at Jamestown the next season,” said Wild Head Coach Jeff Tory.
“I am excited and very proud to have this opportunity to play hockey and study mechanical engineering at the University of Jamestown for the next four years! I would like to thank all of my previous coaches over the years, as well as Coach Tory and Coach Leveille for helping me reach my goal over this past year,” stated DeCarolis.
He is the sixth player from the Maine Wild this season who has made a college commitment.
