Willmar picks up first win

Breezy Point 1 @ Willmar 5 - The Warhawks potted four goals in the first 40 minutes and never looked back as they recorded their first win of the 2018-19 campaign, a 5-1 decision over the North Stars. Brendan Hill, Chas VanDeVere, Elijah Slagter, David Israel and Jacob May provided the offense for the victors, while Dylan Borseth netted for Breezy Point in the final frame. Netminder Lucas Ehrlich took the win for Willmar, while Breezy Point's Max Eilefson suffered the loss between the pipes.
The WarHawk victory marks the first of head coach Saverio Posa's career and he'll look to turn it into a streak Saturday with a home game against Granite City. it will be the third time in eight days the WarHawks will meet the Lumberjacks.
