NA3HL Weekend Preview

November 2, 2018
This weekend in the NA3HL features 34 games as the calendar turns to November and less than a month remains until the announcement for the schedule for the 2018 NA3HL Showcase.

This weekend has several intriguing match-ups on the slate beginning in the Central Division with top four teams all in action against one another as St. Louis is in Milwaukee and Peoria is in Coulee Region. The Coastal Division has a big match-up between 2nd place Northeast and 3rd place New England, along with Maine and Long Beach facing one another. In the Frontier Division, Helena and Great Falls look to continue their separation from the rest of the pack with some home games. Bozeman also hosts two home games against Gillette. In the Northeast, division-leading Binghamton puts their winning streak on the line with three games in Oswego, while Niagara Falls and Skylands do battle. In the South, all eyes will in on Atlanta as the Capitals have a three-game set against the Drillers. Finally, in the West Division, Alexandria is in North Iowa with the two teams tied in the standings for 3rd place.

All games broadcast live on HockeyTV.

The 2018-19 season marks the ninth for the NA3HL, which is one of two USA Hockey-certified Tier III junior leagues. This past season, no other league has had more movement and advanced more players onto play in the NAHL than the NA3HL.

The NA3HL is also the only league that has an exclusive NAHL tendering system available only to NA3HL players. This sets the stage for a proven and quantifiable NA3HL-NAHL pipeline as the NA3HL continues to make their mark in advancement of players. A total of 51 former NA3HL players played in the NAHL during the 2017-18 regular season. In addition, 24 more current NA3HL players were tendered by NAHL teams to play in the NAHL for the 2018-19 season.

The NA3HL also saw over 150+ college commitments in 2017-18. Almost 70% of those college commitments were NCAA commitments.
