Binghamton goalie Sullivan makes college commitment
March 5, 2019
The Binghamton Junior Senators of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that goaltender Thomas Sullivan has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey for Stony Brook University.
Sullivan, 20, is in his final season of junior hockey in the NA3HL. The 6’4/180 lbs. native of Floral Park, New York, is 12-3-0 in 18 appearances this season. He has posted a 2.10 goals against average and a .934 save percentage, which ranks tied for 4th in the NA3HL.
Sullivan has spent the past two seasons with Binghamton in the NA3HL. He also saw a stint with the Metro Fighting Moose in the NA3AHL.
“Stony Brook is getting a strong goaltender who they will be able to lean on in key games. One of Thomas' reasons on why he chose Stony Brook is because of their strong winning tradition, in qualifying for the ACHA National Championships for 12 straight seasons. He has been one of multiple goalies we have been able to call on this year and Stony Brook will be definitely doing the same,” said Binghamton head coach Anthony Langevin.
