Well, this is it. The final weekend of the 2018-19 NA3HL regular season is upon us and this weekend will put all of the final puzzle pieces in place for the 2019 Fraser Cup Playoffs, which begin next weekend.

There is still plenty of divisional races and standings that needs to be decided. While the Coastal, Northeast and South Divisions are all set with the playoff match-ups already determined, there is still work to be done in the other three.

In the Central Division, Coulee Region needs a combination of two wins or two St. Louis losses to claim the regular season crown. Milwaukee and Peoria are also tied for 3rd place and will go down to the wire to see who finished 3rd and 4th. In the Frontier, the Helena Bighorns need a win on Friday to claim the title. A Bighorns loss followed by a Great Falls win on Saturday would give the Americans the crown. In the West Division, there is a heated battle for the 4th and final spot. Alexandria needs one win on Friday or Saturday to claim the final spot over New Ulm. North Iowa and Rochester are also battling for home ice and 2nd and 3rd place.

All games broadcast live on HockeyTV.

The 2018-19 season marks the ninth for the NA3HL, which is one of two USA Hockey-certified Tier III junior leagues. This past season, no other league has had more movement and advanced more players onto play in the NAHL than the NA3HL.

The NA3HL is also the only league that has an exclusive NAHL tendering system available only to NA3HL players. This sets the stage for a proven and quantifiable NA3HL-NAHL pipeline as the NA3HL continues to make their mark in advancement of players. A total of 51 former NA3HL players played in the NAHL during the 2017-18 regular season. In addition, 24 more current NA3HL players were tendered by NAHL teams to play in the NAHL for the 2018-19 season.

The NA3HL also saw over 150+ college commitments in 2017-18. Almost 70% of those college commitments were NCAA commitments.
