Binghamton forward Padgeon makes NCAA commitment

March 27, 2019
The Binghamton Junior Senators of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that Top Prospects forward Mike Padgeon has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Anna Maria College.

Padgeon, 20, had a career-best season in 2018-19. The 6’4/191 lbs, native of Sellersville, Pennsylvania, was 2nd overall in NA3HL scoring this season with 123 points (51 goals, 72 assists) in just 47 games played.

Padgeon also has 15 points in four playoff games heading into this week’s Fraser Cup.  Padgeon was also selected to and played in the 2019 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament for the Northeast Division team, where he had two points in three games played.

Overall in his two-year NA3HL career Padgeon has played in 96 career games and recorded 180 points.

"Mike is in his second season with us. Last year, he filled various roles we needed filled on the team. This year, he has stepped in to be a first line scoring power forward. Mike worked hard over the off-season and we named him an Assistant Captain for his great attitude and incredible leadership with our younger players,” said Binghamton Head Coach Anthony Langevin. “The most exciting part of the season was when he became our all-time points leader for the club in the last game of the season. I know the coaching staff at Anna Maria very well, and am excited that he will be a top player for them next season.”
