L/A Nordiques defenseman McCormick makes NCAA commitment

The L/A Nordiques of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that Top Prospects defenseman Andrew McCormick has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at Westfield State University.
McCormick, 20, just completed his third and final season of playing junior hockey in the NA3HL for the Nordiques organization. The 6’1/181 lbs. native of Canton, New York, had his best career season in 2018-19 as he recorded 44 points (15 goals, 29 assists) in 47 regular season games.
He also played in eight playoff games as the Nordiques made it all the way to the NA3HL Fraser Cup Championship Game.
McCormick was selected to and played in the past two NA3HL Top Prospects Tournaments in 2018 and 2019.
Overall in his three-year career with Lewiston/Auburn in the NA3HL, McCormick recorded 90 career points in 136 career games played.
He is the 4th player from the Nordiques 2018-19 roster that has made an NCAA commitment so far this season.
