Milwaukee goalie Barnhill makes college commitment

The Milwaukee Power of the NA3HL are proud to announce that goaltender Ty Barnhill has committed to play ACHA Division 1 hockey for to Indiana Tech.
Barnhill, 19, appeared in 20 games for the Power this season making 17 starts. The 6’3/160 lbs. native of Port Washington, Wisconsin, posted a 4-13-0 record with a 6.10 goals against average and an .881 save percentage.
His most notable game of the year was a shootout win against his former team, the St. Louis Jr Blues, where he made 59 saves on 61 shots to collect his first win of the season.
“I choose Indiana Tech because of the beautiful campus and the competitive hockey program,” said Barnhill. “My goal is to help the team qualify for the ACHA National Tournament.”
“I’m very excited for Ty to move his game to the next level,” said Nate Eminger, Head Coach of the Power. “He was a key component to our team and a true competitor every time he touched the ice. I wish him the best as he continues his education at Indiana Tech.”
Barnhill played three games for the St. Louis Jr. Blues during the 2018-19 season, posting a perfect 3-0-0 record with two shutouts.
