Long Beach forward Poripski makes college commitment

The Long Beach Sharks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Steven Poripski has committed to play ACHA Division 1 hockey for West Virginia University.
Poripski, 19, just completed his first season playing in the NA3HL. The 5’7/155 lbs. native of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, recorded eight points (2 goals, 6 assists) in 11 games with the Sharks during the 2019-20 season.
He made his debut on January 10th and scored his first career NA3HL goal on January 19th. His most productive game statistically came on February 23rd when he recorded three assists in a 5-4 loss to Skylands.
He represents the third Sharks player who has made a college commitment this season.
