Titans and Brahmas win on Tueday
Brahmas forward Tyler Blanchard had two goals and an assist in a 6-0 win on Tuesday.
Titans 3 @ Bobcats 2 – Titans goalie Ethan Kavanagh made 51 saves to lead his team to a 3-2 win over the Bobcats on Tuesday. The Titans were first on the board as Brandon Avezov scored the opening goal in the 1st period just 3:16 into the game. The Bobcats tied things up later in the period as James Sandison scored. The Bobcats took their first lead of the game as early in the 2nd period Landon Booth netted his first goal of the season to make it 2-1. Later in the 2nd period, the Titans found the equalizer thanks to a goal from George Haigley. Late in the 3rd period, the game-winner came off the stick of Brett Bell to secure the 3-2 win. Bobcats goalie Nathan Moffitt made 37 saves in the loss.
Mid Cities 0 @ TX Brahmas 6 – Brahmas forward Tyler Blanchard had two goals and an assist to help his team to a 6-0 win over the Stars on Tuesday. The Brahmas took a 2-0 lead in the 1st period with goals from RJ Muckensturm and Jack Cooper. The Brahmas would tack on three more goals in the 2nd period, which included the first from Blanchard and others from Blake Rothstein and Leevi Selanne. Blanchard would then add his second goal of the game in the 3rd period to complete the 6-0 win. Brahmas goalie Dolan Gilbert had to make just 6 saves in the shutout win, which Sean Guerin made 52 saves in the loss.
