Avalanche deals Detlefsen, Skinner
The Alaska Avalanche has traded defenseman Kent Detlefsen, 20, to the Wichita Falls Wildcats for forwards Bill Colclough, 19, Pat Colclough, 19, and Tyler Tosunian, 17.
The Avalanche also dealt forward Dustin Skinner, 20, to the North Iowa Outlaws for a second- and third-round pick in this year’s NAHL draft.
Detlefsen, a Top Prospects Tournament selection who started the season with Alexandria, was the Avs’ leading scorer with 18 goals for 35 points. Skinner, who began the season with Southern Minnesota, has totaled 12 goals for 25 points this year.
The Avalanche also tendered Service High School forward Logan Rounds. The 6-foot-1, 170-ound Anchorage native is one of the top scorers in the Cook Inlet Conference.
“Logan is a skilled players who can create and make plays with the puck,” said Alaska coach Jamie Smith. “We’re very excited to welcome him to the Avalanche organization.”
